About Little Hen

Little Hen is a stylish, high-volume brunch restaurant known for beautiful food, warm hospitality, and an elevated guest experience. We are opening our Fort Lauderdale location and are looking for friendly, polished, and organized Hosts / Hostesses to join our opening team.

The Host / Hostess is the first impression of Little Hen and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and smooth guest experience.

Position: Host / Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow
• Use Resy or reservation system to organize tables and guest notes
• Communicate wait times clearly and politely
• Escort guests to tables and present menus
• Support table rotation to ensure fair and efficient seating
• Communicate with servers, managers, and bussers during service
• Read reservation notes, allergies, celebrations, and special requests before service
• Keep the host stand clean, organized, and stocked
• Assist with answering phones and guest inquiries
• Maintain a calm and professional attitude during busy brunch service
• Follow Little Hen hospitality and appearance standards

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience preferred
• Experience with Resy or reservation systems is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, professional, and polished appearance
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Must be available weekends and holidays
• Morning and daytime availability required
