About Little Hen
Little Hen is a stylish, high-volume brunch restaurant known for beautiful food, warm hospitality, and a professional team environment. We are opening our Fort Lauderdale location and are looking for reliable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our kitchen team.
The Dishwasher plays an important role in keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and running smoothly during service.
Position: Dishwasher
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Keep dish area clean, organized, and stocked
- Maintain clean plates and utensils for service at all times
- Assist with trash removal and proper waste disposal
- Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas
- Support kitchen team with basic cleaning and organization
- Follow sanitation, safety, and food handling standards
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures
Requirements
- Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Morning and daytime availability required
